Tomorrow's Monday. Boo.

Tomorrow is Monday and that means Spring Break is officially over.  Boo.  We have loved our precious family time this week.  We played outside, played cars, played dinosaurs, went on walks, played outside some more, went to the park, and played outside some more again.  It was so fabulous.  I DO NOT want my alarm clock to go off at 5:00AM tomorrow morning.  I might cry.  I always say this...but I mean it...I'm so glad that I do love my job because it makes being a working mom a little bit easier.  I will be excited to see my 5th graders tomorrow but my heart aches to be with my two boys.  I'm pretty sure there are only 11 more Mondays until summer...but who's counting?  ;)

My parents gave Nathan and Jordan a trampoline for their birthday a couple months ago.  Bryan finally had some good weather and a few hours to put it together.  The boys were so excited as Bryan was putting it together that they stayed outside all morning and watched his every move.  They requested their snack and lunch outside so they could watch their trampoline masterpiece come together.

Look at those happy faces!

Then, it was time to JUMP!  The boys jumped every day this week, multiple times a day... Thanks MeMe and Grandad for the really cool birthday gift!!

In all of our time outside this week, N and J discovered rolly pollies and worms!!  YUCK!  That's boys for ya!  They liked holding the bugs in their Daddy's work gloves.  So funny!

Spring Break is always a little "tease" before summer.  Summer could not get here fast enough!  I've signed the boys up for swim lessons.  We have an incredible trip to California planned.  I get to spend ALL day with my boys for about 8 full weeks....Summer 2012, come quick!

Silly Cousin Time!

Over Spring Break, we spent an evening at Aunt Emily's house.  Nathan and Jordan sure do love to play with all of Bryce and Brayden's cool toys.

The big red race car was a big hit!!  We tried taking a picture of all the kids with the car...but Nathan kept pressing the gas pedal when we tried to take the picture.

Watch out PaPa!!!!

We finally got to snap a picture!!

The drum set was a fun treat too!  Nathan and Jordan rocked the house!!

And a Batman house too!

What a fun spring night with cousins!

Love this!

I got so tickled when these papers came home in Nathan and Jordan's folders from school a few weeks ago.  The boys love learning their Bible Verse each month and it just warms my heart that they are already falling in love with God's Word.  If you know N and J, can you guess which Bible Verse Paper belongs to Jordan and which one belongs to Nathan?  Isn't one a little more Jordan-ish and one a little more Nathan-ish?  I love it!  I love that I can identify their artwork even without looking at the name on the paper.

Tennesee Trip

Buzz Lightyear made the trip tucked behind Nathan's backpack and Ellie made the trip in Jordan's backpack!  This family does not travel without our little friends!

We were so surprised by the special treat to sit in the cockpit of the airplane.  When we were walking on the plane, the flight attendants and pilots just welcomed the boys right into the front seat!  SO COOL!!!

Nathan showed Buzz all the great sights out the window.  One of the flight attendants even gave Buzz a shout-out from the intercom.  When the flight attendant was giving his seatbelt speech, all of a sudden we heard him say, "And we have a special guest on the plane today....BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!  TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!"  Nathan's little eyes just lit up, he was so excited!  It was awesome.

Jordy discovered that he likes peanuts!

On Saturday morning, my sweet little Nater-Tot woke up with a 102 fever.  He got to stay at the hotel room with Daddy for most of the day.  They joined us at the reception later that afternoon after some good rest and Tylenol.

Jordan went with me, MeMe and Grandad to the wedding.  He later told Nathan, "I got to go to a wedding today.  And, it was reeeeaaaallllyy special."  HA!  How many times do you think I told him that this was a very special day for Kyle and Megan and he needed to obey and be sweet and listen quietly...oh goodness.

My cute boys at the wedding reception!

This is one of my favorite little pictures from the weekend....Nathan just LOVES my Memom.  He would just run and hug her legs so tight!  Here's Nathan showing Memom his Buzz Lightyear cup and telling her all about it.  How precious.

We are loving our time off this week but it's already flying by way too fast!!

Rotten

Rotten, yep, spoiled rotten.  Bryan packs the boys lunch for school on Tuesday and Thursday morning.  Over the past couple of weeks, he has been drawing pictures on the boys' napkins to place in their lunch for school. Bryan won't be able to put away his folded clothes or put his water cup in the dishwasher before he goes to bed.  BUT he DOES have time to draw this ornate illustration on each napkin for his 3 year olds at 11:00 at night!  HA!  He cracks me up!  Nathan and Jordan love it and it makes them feel super special.  Here's a peek at a few of them...

The first one was by request.  Jordan requested Sally and Lightning and Nathan requested Mickey Mouse.  When the boys started actually requesting pictures on their napkins, I told Bryan that he really started something now!

This is one of my favorite...
Superhero Jordan with Superhero Ellie
 and
Superhero (or as Nathan says, "super-heed-er-o") Nathan with Superhero Blue Blanket!!

Veggie Tales!  Jordan would say, "That silly Larry.  He's silly like PaPa and Daddy."

Can't wait to see what these boys request this week...How long do you think Bryan can keep this up!?  Goodness knows that I can not draw worth a flip! Maybe I could put polka dots on their napkins.  That would be so NOT impressive.

PINK DAY

My two boys sporting their PINK shirts for pink day at school!  So cute!  Nathan was not so sure about wearing pink...it took us a few days to convince him that boys look cute in pink too.
