JP, Our Artist

Jordan's work was chosen to be showcased at the SL TownSquare Library.  So proud of this hard worker.

He had titled his artwork, "The Preppy Penguin."  With its plaid jacket and tie, I would say it's a pretty preppy penguin!  Cute!

Carson's prayer

I looked over at the basketball team before the game and I saw Carson with his head bowed and hands together.  Love Jesus, sweet boy; He's all you need.

This crazy kid has also started running out to be introduced with the team.  His introduction (by his own request) this week was "Carson Pepperoni Sausage Calvert!!"  He keeps us rolling! Ha!

Valentine's Day

We love because HE first loved us.
  1 John 4:19
We snapped this picture after school, while watching the Trolls movie and waiting for Bryan to get home.  These 4 peeps and their daddy are my world.

Mrs.Duff sent us a couple of pics from Nathan's Valentine Party...wish I had some of the others too!

It was a fun day of celebrating the ones we love!

Birthday Party!

We celebrated Nathan and Jordan's birthday party with a whole lot of 2nd grade boys this past weekend.  It was a blast!  We had a Game Truck come to the house.  I was able to round theboys up for less than 5 minutes to sing and cut the cake.  Then they disappeared to play video games the rest of the party.

We took this picture at the end of the party.  Carson flipped out because he wasn't in the picture.

So...we took another one...

I'm pretty sure Carson considers himself an 8-year-old triplet.  He wants to be right in the middle of his big brothers all the time.  He is the king of potty words right now because he knows his brothers will laugh.  Ugh...such is the life of a mom with 3 boys.

Harper finally came out of the house to socialize the last ten minutes of the party...

It sure was fun to celebrate Tot and JP this weekend. They are super 8-year-olds!

Nathan

I opened Seesaw the other day to find this science lab assignment.  I was like, "Nathan, does Ms.Snyder know your nickname is Tot?"  He said, "Well, yeah of course, Mom."

Of course.

Pink Day!

I think Carson thought we were kidding when we told him pink day was this week!  Ha!  He was NOT too excited about a pink shirt.  Luckily he warmed up to the idea and thought pink day was funny.  Harper came home super excited that they had pink cake for snack.  I sure do love these little muffins!

Happy Birthday Nathan and Jordan!

This morning started out with the red plate and cinnamon rolls with a candle!  So much fun to celebrate these boys!

Then I got this awesome text from one of the boys' friends mom...so funny!

Lunch from Subway was their special request!  Jordan requested turkey, cheese, cucumbers, and lettuce...yep, cucumbers and lettuce.  Nathan wanted salami, lettuce, and honey mustard...yep, salami and honey mustard.  They crack me up.

And then cookies on the playground for the class!

We had so much fun today!  Nathan and Jordan are two very special 8 year old boys.  We've enjoyed watching them become more aggressive in sports, and learn so much in school.  They love video games, Legos, and playing outside.  We are so proud of them.  We've watched them make mistakes (which is tough) but we have also seen them learn from those mistakes.  Our read-aloud book at bedtime right now is, "Don't Behave Like You Live In A Cave," if that tells you anything about this season of raising boys.  Their hearts are really trying to figure out sin, repentance, and the grace we have in Jesus.  It's awesome to watch your kids turning to Jesus and realize that they need a savior.

At the park with Grandad!

Carson

This sweet boy had strep and flu on his birthday.  This was MeMe's tissue box creation...so brilliant!  An empty box strapped to a full box with a rubberband. Dirty tissues go in the empty box!  Carson toted his box around all day and we never had a dirty tissue on the floor.  He's feeling much better a week later and the bug managed to stay confined.  No one else in the house got sick.  Thank goodness!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARSON AND HARPER!

Four years old.  Time flies when you're having fun!

Harper at Four- She loves to build with Duplo Legos, color, and play with tiny things.  My fireplace is covered everyday with Harper's Lego creations.  A lot of her Lego houses/castles/playgrounds/ are symmetrical too!  Maybe she's have a knack for math like her mama.  Jill gave Harper her very first set of Calico Critters for her birthday and I think she might have a new love!   Gram and MeMe both have her pieces to her doll house and those Critters have taken over.  So adorable!  Harper loves to write an H and then a few lines and circles for her name.  It's the most precious thing ever.  Her curly hair and sweet disposition are her trademark.  She is such a delight to our family.

Carson at Four- Carson is just as stubborn as ever.  We always say, no wonder he survived those first few days of life...he's quite a spitfire!  Carson was a little bit of a stinker at school on Tuesday, so I asked him if he was nice at school today.  His response was, "kinda."  Ummm...that's promising?!  Goodness.  He knows all his letters and refuses to even try to write them.  Ugh.  He loves tractors, farms, working tools, kitchen toys, and race cars.  He wakes up before 6:00 every day and he keeps us in stitches!

Jordan

Got this sweet picture this week from Jordan's 1st grade teacher.  He got to go back to her class and read aloud.  Such a thoughtful gesture to send me a pic.  So proud of this big kid!

Harper

It's Girl Scout cookie time!  Harper's not a fan of chocolate and she's been super disappointed that we brought home a couple boxes of cookies that are chocolate.  Sooo...I finally brought home a box of "Lemonades" for her.  She was so tickled about those cookies!  I love this big smile!!

Baby Cal is here!

I was in heaven a couple weeks ago getting to snuggle sweet baby Cal! Aunt life is good!!  Cal was the sweetest and easiest baby.

Basketball Season's Back!!!

These boys have made such an improvement from last year!  Scoring points, playing defense, hustling down the court, dribbling like champs...so proud of these two.  It's extra fun when your daddy is the coach too.

The Morning Carson locked Bear-Bear in the bathroom

It was a tough day until Daddy came home.  Had to take the entire doorknob off the door to retrieve Bear-Bear out of that bathroom.

Blue Day!
