Look who learned to ride a bike in the summer! There are no more little kids at the CALVERT House anymore. I took Carson and Harper to a local church parking lot several mornings in a row and these brave kids finally took off on their own!

Adventure Week and Wild Week (as N and J called it...CVBS for CRAZY VBS! Ha!)
We had the BEST TIME at Adventure Week and Wild Week this summer. Crafts, Bible stories, worship, bounce houses, animals, and friends made for a fantastic week.
Thursday Morning of Wild Week-
Nate walks down the stairs...
Me: “Nate, that outfit looks terrible. Are you okay with that?”
Nate: “yep!”
Me: “Alrighty then, let’s get in the car.”
He makes my heart smile!! I love his brave and bold personality. He couldn’t care less what anyone else thinks about him. He rocked that crazy outfit that day and it delighted my soul!
Worship time was one of our favorite things!
I promise JP was there too and I volunteered all week...never did get a picture of all of us together!
Harper and Carson got to enjoy some big fun at their friends’ house one afternoon...a serious water gun competition...boys vs. girls! Sooo cute!
Summer Has Begun!
Our first trip to the water park for the summer! This is one of our most favorite activities of summer. We pack a bunch of snacks and a peanut butter sandwich and play all day in the sun! We’ve had an unseasonably cold June. It was cloudy and the water was chilly! So funny for Texas!
I’m pretty sure Carson was shivering in this picture.

My Outdoor Helper
This kid loves to be outside and he was the first one to happily volunteer to go with me to Lowe’s, buy flowers, and come home to plant and fertilize them. I love his heart for everything outside...even bugs and lizards!!
Last Day of Kinder and 4th
It was a big day...Nate and JP are officially elementary school grads. They were full of mixed emotions leaving the school they love. I’m excited for Carson and Harper to continue to grow and flourish in such a nurturing and highly challenging academic environment.
This was their official 4th Grade Clap Out...it’s a really big deal to cheer on these 4th graders as they continue on their educational journey to intermediate school!

Carson and Harper were living the good life with friends at their Kindergarten Luau!

“Look Mom! I found a worm!”
Oh sweet Jesus, You sure do have a sense of humor by gifting me with 3 boys! Ha!
EIS FIELD DAY
I sure did have a special homeroom this year. They were so full of life and love for others. Amazing. This crew will always hold a special place in my heart.
OUES FIELD DAY
I slipped away from school for a few minutes to visit the kids at field day.The big kids were running all over the place to participate in every event. It was a miracle I found both of them.
Carson and his buddy were loving the life of Rita’s Ice at Dragon Stadium. So cute!
