A Wedding Weekend :)

Love was in the air this weekend for Libby and Brad's big day! Brad - We are so excited for you to be a part of our Calvert family. We love you!

Libby and Brad walking through the ceremony at their rehearsal on Friday night.

Still in love - over 6 years later! Me and my hubby at the rehearsal dinner.

Me and my boys!

Our family - before the wedding. Don't you think all three of my men are so handsome!?

Brad and Morgan sportin' their A&M pride over Brad's cake. So fun!

Aunt Jenn was trying to get my Jordy to take a few steps. The little stinker has been standing on his own and taking 1 to 3 steps at a time for weeks now, but he just will not take off on his own.

Proud older brother with his beautiful sister

The Calvert girls - Isn't Libby's dress stunning?!

Congratulations Brad and Libby! We were thrilled to celebrate this special moment with you.

One Year Old Rites of Passage

Okay, so I can not get this post to look right and all the captions to go in the right place with the pictures! Driving me crazy! Has everyone else's blog posting format changed to where the composing stage looks like the words and pictures are in a different place than when it is posted? Can anyone give this not-so-technological-girl some help!?

New facing forward car seats! A brand new view of the world.

No more bottles!

First time to eat chicken nuggets from Chick-Fil-A! Nathan thought he was in heaven. I have never seen him eat this fast. HA!

First time to eat ice cream!

Our first Valentines Day Party in Sunday School!

These boys thought they were big stuff eating their cheerios at the table. :) (How do you like the mushy cheerio stuck to Nathan's chin. Nice, huh?)

White as Snow

We have had a record snow fall in North Texas today with 8.7 inches of snow and it is still falling! It is absolutely beautiful. What a great reminder from our God that He washes us white as snow...
Can you hear me humming...?...

"What can wash away my sin?Nothing but the blood of Jesus; What can make me whole again?Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Oh! precious is the flowThat makes me white as snow;No other fount I know,Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Nothing can for sin atone,Nothing but the blood of Jesus;Naught of good that I have done,Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Glory! Glory! This I sing—Nothing but the blood of Jesus,All my praise for this I bring—Nothing but the blood of Jesus."

And, it has already been declared a snow day tomorrow. No school for me. No school for Bryan. :) Yippee!

Happy Birthday Jordy and Nater-Tot!!

We had such a blast celebrating Nathan and Jordan's first birthday. The boys just LOVED all the Elmo decor and I enjoyed planning the party too. :) We decided to have the party at The Church at the Cross Treehouse. It was the perfect place for all of our cousins and a couple of close friends to burn some energy.

The Cake (Because I also think Mr.Noodle is just a little creepy, I specifically requested for only Elmo and Dorothy to adorn the cake.)

We couldn't have an Elmo party without Elmo's pet goldfish, Dorothy. She was the centerpiece of four of the tables.

Lots of balloons!
I made Elmo goody-bags!

This is a great picture of the treehouse...can you imagine the fun in store if you are 1 - 4 years old?

Nathan and Jordan are checkin' it out.

Daddy and his buddy, Jordan.

"Oh, this looks like fun, Mommy!" Aren't these Elmo shirts the most adorable thing ever?! I found these handmade shirts on Etsy and I thought they would be perfect for the party. The boys just laughed and laughed and pointed at each other when they saw brother wearing a fuzzy Elmo shirt.

Climbing with Daddy!

Made it all the way to the top!

"This is so much fun!"

Opening presents! Jordan liked the Elmo birthday cards the best!

Time for cake!

What a mess!!

What a year! These two boys got lots of hugs and kisses from this Emotional/Sentimental Mama today!! Now it's time for some shut-eye after a very busy weekend. Happy First Birthday to my baby boys!
