Harper
She's figured out that she is the only girl amidst 3 brothers. She fussed at Aunt Jenn for giving her a boy colored toddler fork as opposed to a pink or purple toddler fork a couple days ago at supper. She LOVES Minnie Mouse, hair bows, baby dolls, and princesses. She cracks us up! Harper is a natural nurturer. If she is thirsty, she insists that Carson get his cup as well. She is all about bringing the family members our shoes. And she'll sometimes keep handing you your shoes until you put them on your feet. Can't wrap my head around her upcoming birthday. The "babies" (they will always be called "the babies" by the way) will be two in just a couple of weeks. Goodness, time flies.

When it's quiet...be afraid :)
When it gets a little too quiet in the playroom it might be because.....
The babies learned how to open the pantry door and have stolen the Apple Jacks!

Busted!
Now run!
OR because Carson stumbled upon someones Route 44 Dr. Pepper!
Toy Assembly…
(Posted by Bryan)
I consider myself a reasonably handy guy, but the time, energy,
and tools required to assemble a child’s toy these days is insane! It’s a good
thing I get two weeks off for Christmas because I worked every single night
after the kids went to bed putting toys together right up until around 3:00
a.m. on Christmas morning. It’s even more fun when you get a couple of helpers.
Carson and Harper woke up early from their nap one afternoon over the break
while I was working on their trucks. Carson could hardly stand it. He was
squealing and pulling all of the pieces out of the box and trying to assemble
it himself! It’s a good thing they are so cute because I think they quadrupled
the time needed to complete the project! They have had a great time with their trucks.
Their favorite thing to do is have one of their big brothers push them around
the house in the same truck. Carson usually rides up front and Harper sits on
the back!

Harper's been watching her mom drive apparently!
Finally! What took you so long?!

Christmas Morning
With four kids, the line between Christmas Eve and Christmas
morning is very thin! Becca and I were able to squeeze in a quick nap before
hopping back up to get everything ready for Christmas morning. Everyone was
excited to see what Santa Claus had brought! Jordan and Nathan had several
specific requests for Santa this year. Jordan wanted a Tony Romo costume, a
Bryce Petty-Baylor costume, and my favorite, a Baylor blanket! What 5 year old
asks for a Baylor blanket from Santa?! Nathan wanted a Shock Linwood-Baylor
costume and a Boba Fett costume. Santa, with the help of Amazon Prime and many
hours of searching online, was able to pull it off! He also surprised them with
a Ninja Turtle play set! Santa brought Carson and Harper their very own play
kitchen. The kitchen has been a big hit in our house and already gotten hours
of playtime. He also left a train for Carson and baby doll furniture for
Harper. We opened presents, ate a great breakfast, and played toys all day
long. It was a great day of fun and reflection. Most of all we are thankful to
celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to love on our
family. We have much to be thankful for!

Christmas Eve with Meme and Granddad
Keeping with tradition we spent
Christmas Eve night with Meme and Granddad at their house. Everyone
had an awesome night enjoying the fellowship, presents, and Meme’s fabulous
cooking!
Nathan gave Meme a fake yellow flower last year and followed it up with a purple one this Christmas. I can't wait to see what he picks out next year! :)
Carson loved getting a Baylor hat just like his big brothers.
Aunt Jenn found Goonie action figures for Tot! Jack Pot!
Jordan
TURTLES!
Nathan didn't see a need to remove his costume before moving on to his other gifts.
Georgia was pretty stoked about her Maleficent hat!
The boys (Bryan included) were super excited about getting their very own basketball goal.
Tot and Georgia--what a pair!
Sic'em Bears!
Paint by number with Aunt Jenn
I'm pretty sure only Harper could get away with using crayons on Meme's rug :)
