This is a right of passage in our family. MeMe and Grandad have bought each granddaughter their very first American Girl doll for their 5th birthday. Harper’s been studying the catalouges and waiting for her 5th birthday all year! She was in pink heaven!
So difficult to decide! (And can we just take a moment to dote over these curls?!)
She finally decided on Tenney!
We took Tenney with is to enjoy a snack at the American Girl Bistro...so much fun!
Carson and Harper each ate a whole package of sugar donuts this morning! Cracked me up! I’m pretty sure there are 6 donuts in each package. SIX DONUTS! Goodness! Obviously, powdered sugar donuts are not a Calvert normal. Oh and after Carson was finished eating he actually picked up his trash and took it to the trash can. Then, he brushed the crumbs off the table into his hand and carried those crumbs to the trash can too. We were shocked! (and proud) But, mostly just shocked! Ha!
Harper and Kate- so much fun that these two cousins were able to enjoy their preschool years together.
We celebrated the new year with my favorite 5 people! We played games, drank hot chocolate, and watched movies. Nate and Jordy made it until about 10:00 when we made them go to bed.
These 4 hooligans were just a tiny bit excited to beat us at the game! What a fun night!
Christmas Eve Morning is always spent at Gram and PaPa’s house in our Christmas pajamas. The menu is in stone...breakfast casserole, muffins, monkey bread, and fruit. So totally delicious!
Baby Cal sure was a sweet addition to the family in 2017. We love him!
This gift screams trouble!
It was a danger zone in the backyard.
We were amazed with Avery’s shrinky-dinks!
Later that night we came home to eat homemade spaghetti and open our little family gifts. Each twin bought a gift for their own twin this year. Sometimes they really do love each other.
I am a 5th Grade Science teacher, married to the love of my life and my best friend, Bryan. He is an elementary principal. We have two sets of twins...how hysterical is that?! Jordan and Nathan are 9. Carson and Harper are 5. The best thing Bryan and I have in common is our relationship with the Lord! We are firm believers in our Savior and we know that He is all we need. Welcome to a glimpse of our lives!
