Memom's 90th Birthday

As of May, I was so sad because I was the only grandchild not able to attend my Memom's 90th Birthday celebration.  Then, to my surprise, Bryan gave me a plane ticket to Georgia for my Mother's Day gift!!!  Yes!!  It was an honor to attend this special lady's birthday.  She is a Jesus-loving, selfless, strong, independent, lifelong learner, and sweet woman.  We love her and the precedent she has set for our family.

Jenn was in charge of flowers...so incredibly beautiful!

1927...wow.

All the daughters and daughter in law's baked cakes with Memom's recipes...it was the perfect personal touch.

Vivi and Georgia were two of the prettiest little guests.

My Mama and my Memom...two pretty amazing ladies.

The party was held at the Bowdon Historical Society Building.

And it was just fitting and special that there was a brick on the walkway given in memory of my Grandaddy Fuller.

Everyone worked so hard to make sure no detail was left untouched.

My Mama and my Aunt Laura- two beautiful sisters!

And Memom was the guest of honor!  She is just beautiful.

A Night Out with My Big Boys

Thanks to my school families, I had a couple gift cards to Cheese and Factory. Since we were all dressed up to go to Matilda at Bass Hall, I thought a nice dinner would be fun!  These boys cracked me up.  Our big family of 6 doesn't get to go out to a nice restaurant very often.  Jordan was so confused about why they would bring bread to the table before the meal.  I tried to explain that it was an appetizer.  He was finally like, "Oh!!! Like chips and salsa!"  Sure.  Yep.  Just like that.  Oh Lordy.

And of course, we had to live it up big with a big Cheesecake Factory dessert.

Then on to downtown for the show!

They loved it!  Nate especially enjoyed the musical.  He giggled and grinned throughout the entire 3 hour show.  It was awesome.  Thanks to MeMe and Grandad for letting us use their tickets while they were out of town. It sure was a special treat!

Mickey and the Roadster Racers!

Sometimes these 4 crazy kids actually like each other, play together, and have fun!  Ha!

Amazing Race-Grapevine Rec Style

Nate and JP partcipated with Bryan in an Amazing Race last weekend.  They had a blast!

Each stop represented a different country and presented a different challenge.

They were just a little exhausted when they got home...especially Dad.

Harper's Curls

Harper's ponytail always amazes me!  It was extra beautiful this morning so I just had to snap a pic.  It sounds silly, but her hair always reminds me of God's creativity.  He chose curls for Harper and perfected those wringlets to make Harper exactly who He wanted and designed her to be.  I'm sure there will be a phase where she hates these curls so we'll soak it up now.

VBS WEEK

One of our most favorite weeks of summer!  Hooray for Vacation Bible School!  I volunteered with the 2nd grade this week...whew!  It's been an awesome workout.

I tried to get a pic with all of us in it...but that didn't work too great.  Harper got her little feelings hurt...and then it was down hill from there.  She perked up when we got in the van.

Then she needed a tissue.  Drama Queen!  This reminds me that last night she told Bryan that she needed to get out of the bath tub first because, "I am a princess."  So there.

Dare I try to get a picture again tomorrow morning?!  Bless.
