Backyard Shenanigans!

BOYS!  "Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails, that's what little boys are made of."

Climbing...(and then a few minutes later they were climbing and leaping off the top  of the playhouse to the ground.  Oh Lordy.  We did put a stop to that real quick.)

Snakes!  (Yep, he brought that snake to the back door to show me.  ick!!!)

Digging for toys...

A backyard is a world of adventures for a little boy!

Yee-Haw!!!

It was Western Day at KDO last week.  Nathan and Jordan loved eating hot dogs and s'mores at school!

And the babies joined in on the fun that morning too!!

We found these treasures in the boys' backpacks after school!  They just might hang on my fridge forever!

Hoooooowwwwwwdddddyyyyyyyy!

Can not believe these boys are getting so big!

Carson keeps truckin!

Took my little buddy to see his pulmonologist today.  Staying on breathing treatments twice a day and doing great!!   Look at that little face.  He has quite a fan club!

Deep thoughts by Tot...

Tonight at supper, Nathan looked up at me with the most serious look on his face and asked, "Mommy, how did God put us together if we're not Legos."  This kid kills me!  A couple minutes later I turn around to find this robot sitting at my kitchen table!!

Halloween

We ventured to our church carnival on the 30th...tons of fun for the kids!  Vivi and Georgia were so sweet to meet us there for some cousin fun!

Poor little Carson buddy!

Look at that cute Minnie Mouse!!

Every picture from the carnival night of N and J was blurry.  No kidding.  Boys!

We trick or treated on Halloween night in our neighborhood.  It was totally fun!! I read an article today that said, "what other night of the year are all your neighbors knocking on your door?"   Isn't that true?  What a great night to welcome them, dote over their little ones, love by giving (even if it is candy!)!  It's the perfect night to turn on your house lights! Next year, the Calvert house just might have a popcorn machine in the driveway!  (Shhhhh...don't tell Bryan!)

Meet the Green Ninja and the Blue Ninja!

When the boys got tired of walking the neighborhood, they had so much fun passing out candy! I think Nathan made some new middle school friends.  He was quite generous with the handfuls of candy!

It was a great night!  Lots of memories made!
