Crayola Factory Field Trip
I took a day off of work in April to enjoy being mom on a kindergarten field trip. I had a blast and so did Carson and Harper. What a special day of fun!
They made their own crayon. Harper called hers “Pink” and Carson called his “Gavin Green.” Carson Gabe his to a friend and that self-initiative of being kind warmed my heart!

Celebrating Ms.Herreman
Harper was tickled to attend a bridal shower for Ms.Herreman! She’s so excited for her to get married!
Toby Mac Concert
We took Nate and JP to their very first concert over spring break. It was amazing! This was the Toby Mac Hits Deep Tour...Jeremy Camp, Jordan Felix, Ryan Stevenson...so much talent. I loved worshiping alongside these two really cool kids.
Jordan said, “Mom, music at a concert sure does sound different than music on your phone. And it’s awesome!” Ha!

A Walk with Harper and Minnie
Springtime with my two girls....
I love that Harper put on these fun knee socks with her tennis shoes to go to the park! I hope she never loses that spunky spirit!
Harper loves to swing! She learned to swing all by herself so much earlier than any of the boys...ha! I thought Nate and JP were never going to learn to pump their legs on the swing!! So different than when I was a kid because we had swings on all the school playgrounds. I guess they are a little too sketchy for school playgrounds these days!

Happy birthday to Nate and JP!
Nerf gun wars, video games, and cookie cake with friends make for a great birthday! This is the most adorable group of buddies. We are so thankful N and J have made such good friends at school. Happy 10th birthday big guys!
At 10 years old: Jordan loves to eat, play catcher in baseball, play video games, play basketball, read Stuart Gibbs books, study US history (especially the presidents), ride bikes in the neighborhood, put together Legos, and play with Minnie. He is a fantastic dog owner...takes Minnie on walks, gives her a bath, and plays toys with her too. JP likes to please his teachers and do well in school. He loves projects, drawing, art class, math, and programming robots in Quest. He was recently super proud of himself for learning to make macaroni and cheese all by himself! He’s a super cool kid.
At 10 years old: Nate loves to read, play video games, play nerf guns, put together Legos, ride his bike and razor scooter, play basketball, and he really loves to talk. He especially loves the Wings of Fire and Harry Potter book series right now. Nate loves to make people laugh and his lack of filter gets him in to trouble but also keeps our house laughing. Nate also just saved up his money to buy himself a guitar. He starts lessons this summer...can’t wait to see him try something new! He’s such an awesome kid!

Happy 6th Birthday Carson and Harper!
Daddy surprised Carson and Harper with birthday lunch at school...they were so excited!
Party at Chuck E. Cheese! 6 years old is about deal! They have the cutest friends!
We sure did enjoy celebrating these two little miracles. We definitely don’t deserve them. The Lord anointed them with life when all medical professionals were certain they would survive my pregnancy. One they did, Harper was healthy as possible. Carson was given 72 hours to live and that little spitfire held on to dear life and God breathed life into Him. I always remind them that they have a big charge to live their life for Jesus, the ONE who gave them life. We praise Jesus for healing them and their birthday always reminds us of that miracle.
We are also reminded that not every baby survives a beginning like they had. It does not make Carson and Harper any more special or deserving of life...it is the plan God has for them. We lift up families that have experienced loss. We pray for healing for their hearts and for their grief to be turned for good.
At 6 years old, Harper loves: reading Mo Willems books, tumbling class, coloring, American Girl dolls, helping in the kitchen, organizing, playing with friends, girl time, painting nails, snuggling with Minnie
At 6 years old, Carson loves: Legos, animals, Dude Perfect videos, You Vs. Wild videos with Bear Grills, nonfiction books, playing with his older brothers, t-Ball, and playing outside
