Nails!

I took Harper for her first experience at the nail salon. She wasn't too sure about it at first but I'm pretty sure the nail place won her heart. She picked glitter pink nail polish and she sat perfectly still to get her toenails painted. Cutest thing ever!!!

Morning with Moms

I got to enjoy a few extra minutes with these two cool kids one morning last week. Such a joy to see them in their element. They love school and we could not be more thankful for the amazing teachers and admin at OUES.

Spring Break Day 4

The day started with a trip to the dentist for Nathan and Jordan. Then a quick trip to Target. After lunch, the big boys helped me mKe some Bunny Trail Mix🐰! Yum!

After nap, we piled in the car to ride bikes at my school. The parking lot is big and there is so much free space to ride. The big boys have gotten more and more confident on their bikes...so proud of them!

Carson is a maniac on his little bike too. He scoots all over the place. He doesn't quite glide yet but he's so close!

Harper mostly picked flowers.

She did hop on the bike for maybe 2 minutes. I'm sure she'll be interested soon!

My boys...

She's a monkey too.

Spring Break Day 3

Carson was up early, of course. He kept closing my bathroom doors because my hair dryer was interrupting his show. Ha!

Harper was so proud of this Lego chicken she made. Love that little bed head.

We headed for the mall to finish up some Easter clothes shopping. This alligator is always a pit stop. I searched for every penny in my purse to throw in the alligator's mouth. Notice which one of the four is totally scared of a robotic alligator! I'm pretty sure Harper and Nathan would have climbed in there with the alligator if I let them. Carson wanted absolutely nothing to do with it!

Easter clothes shopping is done!

Spring Break Day 2

I worked on cleaning out closets all morning! It was a big job!! Still have more to do...I guess that job is never done when you have 4 kids.

Carson put his dishes in the dishwasher all by himself! He thinks he's seven. Love him.

After cleaning out closets and battling nap time for an hour, we piled in the car to donate clothes that don't fit. These kids are troopers!

And of course, Bubba fell asleep on the way home. He really did need that nap. Such a stinker.

Spring Break Day 1

I taught the big boys how to fold towels today. They actually worked together and they were pretty proud of their stack!

We spent some time at the park this afternoon...it was a beautiful day! C and H refused to settle down for nap today so after about 1 full hour of battling nap time, I put everyone in the car and headed for the park!

These kids were sweaty, red-faced, worn out little messes!

So Sonic Happy Hour was calling our names! Five slushes please!

This girl and that curly hair!

Spring break Day One!

ZOO

Bryan's finishing up his spring break while the kids and I are just beginning ours. This is the first time in about 8 years that we haven't had the same spring break. We took the kids to the zoo over the weekend...so fun! There was a new baby gorilla named Gus! This is the big protective Daddy gorilla!

Then the little baby was laying on his back cuddled with his mommy.

Watching the tiger...

Feeding the birds was Carson's favorite part of the day.

The train ride back to the main gate is always a big hit.

On the way home we asked the kids what their favorite animal was at the zoo. Harper's answer: "the pink flamingos." Of course! I mean they WERE pink. It was a perfect day to kick off spring break! So thankful for my peeps!
