Tot

Apparently I look like Fred Flintstone and Bryan can dunk a basketball.  Who knew?!!!?? Ha!!

The REAL Beauty and The Beast

Princess Harper was totally pumped about this movie!  We loved it!

Time with C and H!

We took these two little squirts to Chuck E. Cheese over the break.   Nathan and Jordan were at MeMe and Grandad's house for the night so we had some special time with the tiniest munchkins.  Carson was so excited that he's blurry in every picture.  He ate pizza standing up and couldn't even finish a game before heading off to the next one!

Harper LOVED the tickets!!

Calvert Time

Aunt Libby and Baby Cal came to visit over Spring Break.  We loved those baby cuddles!!

The kids got lots of great cousin time!!...sorry about your leaf pile PaPa...pretty sure he might have to take again.

And we love silly time with Aunt Morgan!! Pretty sure she was letting the boys create Snapchat videos.  They thought it was hysterical!

It's Spring Break and we wanted to take the kids to do something special.  We headed to Glen Rose for the day!

4 Year Old Check-up

These big kids were super brave for their 4-year-old shots.  So a trip to the dollar section at Target was a must!

Dr.Scott to Harper: What do you do when it's cold outside?
Harper: Go INSIDE!

Dr.Scott to Carson: What is a house?
Carson: Well, you build it.

They cracked me up.  They both answered all of his questions so confidently!  Carson weighs 34 pounds and Harper weighs 37...can not believe the are such big kids!

Got this from a student today...

...and it reminded me why I love my job.  Kids are amazing.

2nd Grade Open House

We were excited to see a showcase of work from Nathan and Jordan at Open House.

These are a couple of squares from Jordan's Keeping Quilt. I love what they consider major life events.

Nathan created "Nate" characters out of his name on his name tag.  So creative.  He loves "Nate" books right now.

And my favorite part of the night was that Nathan considers dance parties at our house to be special enough for his keeping quilt.  And I love that.  We DO LOVE DANCE PARTIES in the living room.  A favorite right now is the music from the Trolls movie and Michael Jackson hits.

Proud of these boys.

Dragon Dollar Day

Today was the notorious Dragon Dollar Day in second grade.  The kids are able to shop with the Dragon Dollars they have earned for incentives over the last few months in school.  Nathan created a t-shirt bracelet company and Jordan created "Zippy's" pencil pouches made out of duct tape.  So cute!!  MeMe and Grandad helped us create all 20 items last weekend.  Then they sold to their friends today.  They were so excited!

We are so proud of these two boys!  They sure did work hard for this!  Nathan and Jordan were so excited to sell out of their inventory too!

Morning with Mom

This morning was Morning with Mom at the boys' school.  This is the only picture I ended up with from the morning. (This is where I insert an eye-rolling emoji.)  Boys.

KATC Spring Program

Carson and Harper had a spring program with their class this week.  Harper loved being on stage and sang loud enough for all to hear!  She sang so loud that everyone we knew was talking about it...so adorable!!  Keep that song in your heart, sweet girl!  Carson was not a big fan of the stage.  I'm pretty sure he did not sing one word to any of those songs.  Ugh.

These pictures were before he ditched his Statue of Liberty hat and torch...

And shortly thereafter, he ended up in Ms.Kristan's lap with no torch and no hat.  Let's be thankful we have one more full year before kindergarten.

Carson and Harper are getting so big and we are loving it!  So much fun!!
