This morning started out with the red plate and cinnamon rolls with a candle! So much fun to celebrate these boys!

Lunch from Subway was their special request! Jordan requested turkey, cheese, cucumbers, and lettuce...yep, cucumbers and lettuce. Nathan wanted salami, lettuce, and honey mustard...yep, salami and honey mustard. They crack me up.

And then cookies on the playground for the class!

We had so much fun today! Nathan and Jordan are two very special 8 year old boys. We've enjoyed watching them become more aggressive in sports, and learn so much in school. They love video games, Legos, and playing outside. We are so proud of them. We've watched them make mistakes (which is tough) but we have also seen them learn from those mistakes. Our read-aloud book at bedtime right now is, "Don't Behave Like You Live In A Cave," if that tells you anything about this season of raising boys. Their hearts are really trying to figure out sin, repentance, and the grace we have in Jesus. It's awesome to watch your kids turning to Jesus and realize that they need a savior.
