A Good Way to End Spring Break

We are raising some Baylor Bears in this house!  Disclaimer: while Bryan and I are Baylor Alumni and Bear fans through and through, we just want our kids to have a college experience some day and develop a passion for team spirit and loyalty...regardless of what school they attend some day.  It's never too young to start that passion!  Our boys LOVE the Bears and wear green and gold with pride!  It's so fun!  

We spent our last day of Spring break with a trip to the Baylor Nation!  We started off early this morning by taking Carson to his pulmonologist appointment.  I'm pretty sure that waiting room will never be the same after our crazy four kids spent some time there.

Good news is that Carson had his last RSV vaccination today!  He's had to get one every month since last October. :(  we got a good report from the doctor and Carson's next check-up will be in June.  What a strong little buddy!!

After that, we hopped in the car and headed south to Waco!

All the kids scored a new Baylor t-shirt at the bookstore and we were on the way back home.  It was a great day!  Now back home and totally having to get back to reality that school starts back up in two days and I have a lot of chores to do.  I've let my house go, let the laundry pile up, and played all Spring Break.  It was awesome.

Date Night with My Big Boys!

Bryan offered to keep the babies at home so I could spend some special time with Nathan and Jordan. 

We went hunting for yellow and purple shirts for yellow and purple day at preschool.  We found yellow shirts pretty quickly but I am pretty sure purple shirts for boys just do not exist this year!  I've never had trouble finding shirts for color days before!  I still have a few weeks so I'm hoping we'll still find something!  

While we were at the mall, we made a quick stop for some fun at Legoland...thanks to the annual passes purchased by MeMe and Grandad for the boys' birthday gift.  Nathan so sweetly informs us (almost every day) that he can go to Legoland anytime he wants to now because that's what MeMe said.  Ha!  

Then, we picked out some fun candy at the candy store at the mall!

I sure do love these big boys.  What cool kids!   

Oh, and in the meantime, we got this picture from Bryan...

Look who discovered she can crawl on the fireplace hearth by herself!  Oh Lordy, we are on trouble now!

Carson Snuggles

My little buddy doesn't feel good today.  I'm getting lots of sweet snuggles.

I took Carson to the urgent care clinic and he's been diagnosed with double ear infections, croupe, and an upper respiratory infection.  Poor little buddy.

After 6 days of fighting the stomach bug in 5 out of 6 of us, we celebrated Nathan and Jordan's birthday at Chuck  E. Cheese's.  We missed Bryan terribly.  He was sick in bed with this awful stomach virus that knocked out each of us one at a time.  The boys specifically requested a Baylor Bears Party at Chuck  E. Cheese...so that's what they got!

Little did we know that Harper was coming down with the flu, just a day or two after a stomach virus.  Ugh.  It was awful.  No wonder she's not her perky self in any of these pictures.  Poor baby.

Tot caught a few tickets in his shirt. Lo and behold!!  He found tickets inside his pants!!!  Even funnier, when he lifted up his shirt, his jeans weren't buttoned either!  He makes me laugh!
