Karate Night

Harper and Carson love nights that the big boys have karate.  They get to play at the rec center!  Thanks to Wendy's kids' meals for the gingerbread house stickers to keep these two busy bees entertained.

Frosty the Snowman

MeMe and Grandad took us to see a live show of Frosty the Snowman. So fun!  The kids loved the songs, dancing, and Christmas fun!

Harper -Speech

I am posting way late but early in December, Harper went to our local elementary school for a speech evaluation.  Little Princess has such a gap between her receptive language and her expressive language that she qualifies for walk-in speech therapy.  We are praising Jesus for the support to see improvements in her communication.  She has the most sweet and beautiful spirit.  We LOVE this girl and we are so proud of her!  She really loved the doll house in the speech room.  I have a feeling she'll be bouncing all the way down the hall to speech therapy every week.

Christmas decorations are the best!

Thanksgiving

The big boys love to decorate cookies for every holiday.  The Thanksgiving cookies totally turned into a cookie contest!

We always enjoy our Calvert cousin time too!

Harper loves her some "Da" (Gram) :)

And we had such a fun day at my parents house for Thanksgiving that I have no pictures to show for it.  I am kicking myself.

We are thankful.  Mostly, we are thankful for Jesus and His sacrifice for our sins.  We are thankful for our children, family, our support system, our prayer warriors, our village, our loved ones.  We are thankful for health.  We are thankful for our church  and our dear friends.  We are thankful that God is gracefully filling our physical needs even on the months that are tough. We are thankful for our careers and the students we teach.  What a joy it is to hang out with 5th graders all day.  They are precious to me.  Life is good.
