Symphony in the Park...Star Wars Night

For Father's Day, we took the big kids to Symphony in the Park on Star Wars Night. It was so much fun! The music was incredible and the company was even better.

These boys sure do love their Grandad!

"Sweaty Yoda," as Nathan called him. It was a pretty hot evening.

COUSINS!

And I had the honor of running into one of my favorite people! Tara blessed my heart and soul for two years by gathering the girl cousins around her table every Thursday night to study God's Word. I love this lady!

Fireworks and lasers to end the night!

Bryan had a big interview on Wednesday morning. He decided to stay home from work that day to relax, prepare a little more for the interview, and give himself plenty of time to get ready and get there. Well when you have four kids 7,7, 3, and 3...the house can (is) a little stressful, chaotic, crazy, loud, wild, and energetic. It's not exactly helpful when you are trying to prepare for an important interview. So, I quickly threw everyone in the car for a trip to the park and the public library. These kids are the best...

Splash park!

While the big kids went with Daddy to the water park, I took the little bitty kids to the splash park. Carson loved it!! His "cheeeeese" face cracks me up these days.

And this is what the princess did at the splash park. I'm so glad I packed her a sack-supper and put sunscreen on her...because taking 3 year-olds to the splash park is so easy, said NO ONE ever. Insert eye-roll here.

Saturday with Daddy

Bryan took the kids to the Lowe's Build-In-Grow activity last weekend. I was about to explode over all the poop I had cleaned up that morning...I think he was saving all of us from my attitude. Bless him. Then he sent me this picture. Carson has on goggles. And Jordan is pushing Harper's baby around in the tool store. I laughed hysterically. They are quite a crew!

VBS

VBS is always a fun week! We were totally exhausted. The kids are singing the VBS songs all together in the car and I love it!

These two little muffins were pretty worn out by the last day. Poor things.
