We hopped in the van, all six of us, a few weeks ago and headed down Interstate 20 for 2 days to Georgia to visit my Memoms. Memom Beam is in a nursing facility now. She doesn't know who we are but there is something sweet about sitting in her presence and carrying on a nonsense conversation with her.
We stayed with my Memom Fuller, who is always a great hostess. She blesses us with wisdom, food, hugs, and stories. After looking through pictures of the trip, we did not even get one pic with Memom...I'm so sad! We were so busy trying to keep the babies out of all of Memom's pretty things and make sure our four children did not completely terrorize her house, that we didn't end up with a whole lot of pictures.
The babies liked playing toys on the sun-porch.
We enjoyed a day of swimming at Aunt Laura's house!
Look at these fun cousins!!
And the boys loved playing outside at Memom's house. We spent one evening catching lightning bugs. The boys put them in a mason jar with holes punched in the top and it was a perfect country night light.
Until next time Georgia!
