Took My Punkins to the Punkin Patch!

We made our annual family trip to The Pumpkin Patch last weekend.  The boys loved it!

So happy to be at the Pumpkin Patch!!!

Little scarecrows...

Driving tractors!  If only I could convince these boys to use pedals!  It must be a developmental thing...ugh.

HEY!  It's the Hay House!  Notice the very attractive stamp on Nater Tot's hand?  Yeah, that's how we have to bribe him to take his allergy medicine in the morning.  And sometimes we may or may not bribe him with one candy corn.

The CORN MAZE!  This thing drives me crazy every year!  I can never figure out how to get out of there.  Thank goodness there are usually a few young teenagers that run around in there so long they get the whole thing figured out and they are very willing to share the path.  Although, Nathan and Jordan totally thought they were leading the way the whole time!  HA!  At every "fork" in the maze, they would say, "This way? No, this way.  This way?  No, that way!"  It was hilarious.

Then, if that wasn't enough fun, we jumped on a trailer for a hay ride.

First stop on the hay ride....to feed the donkeys!  They were so cute.

Second stop on the hay ride...to feed the cows.  They were not so cute.  Although Nathan thought it was hysterical.  Jordy, not so much.

I sure am thankful for the great memories we made at the Pumpkin Patch this year!

Going on a Dinosaur Hunt!

Nathan and Jordan are so fascinated by dinosaurs right now.  It all started a few months ago when Paige mailed the boys a surprise...a dinosaur book and dinosaur bath toys.  Then, we discovered "Dinosaur.Train" and "Dino.Dan."  So, now we have to go on dinosaur hunts pretty often at our house.  The boys usually require a hat, a flashlight, a backpack, and a coat.

Waiting on the porch for Daddy to hide the dinosaurs...

 Searching high and low...

 Getting warmer...

Found one!!

It sure is an adventure to be the mom and dad of boys!!

Wha-Wha-Hoo and OCD

Can you guess which crayon box belongs to Jordy and which crayon box belongs to Nater-Tot?

Just a few pics for fun...

Cars pjs, Mr. Potato Head glasses, and monkey/dog hats make for a great Saturday morning outfit!

Nater-Tot loves to wear Daddy's shoes and talk on Daddy's phone!

Gram caught Jordy very proudly displaying his Play-Doh art on the wall!  Tee-Hee!

He's got to get it just right.  That's my Jordy.

MeMe kept the boys last Friday and I found them in the backyard with their trucks all tied together.  They were so proud of MeMe's version of "tow trucks."  So cool!  MeMe can be pretty creative to entertain these munchkins!

SILLY BOYS!

First Day of School!!

Nathan and Jordan were so excited for their first day of school this morning!

They think their "pack-packs" are so cool!

A brother hug to start the day!

A high five too!

They had so much fun on their first day.  I'm sure their precious teachers were exhausted because my two children did NOT take a nap.  Bless those sweet teachers!

Ms. Megan and Ms. Ellen: I promise we will have a lot of talks before Thursday about SLEEPING on our nap mats!!  I am so sorry!

Okay, so if you are interested in seeing some fun teachers (and dorky Mrs. Calvert) in our teacher FLASH Mob, click here.  We had such a blast and our students were thrilled to see us rock out on the first day of school.  :)   HA!  I know.  I'm a nerd.

Meet The Teacher

Nathan and Jordan were so excited to meet their new preschool teachers this morning!  They got to spend about an hour with their new class while the parents went to an informational meeting.  Ms. Megan and Ms. Ellen have already won their little hearts...especially since they taught the class a new dinosaur song!  Nater Tot and Jordy just talked and talked all afternoon about this new dinosaur song.  They sang it for me too (sort of).

YAY for a new school year!
