This morning I had the privilege to work in Nathan and Jordan's Sunday school room. They were waving palm branches and walking around the room with their Sunday School teacher saying, "Hosanna, Hosanna, Jesus is coming!" I was overjoyed to see my boys excited about the true meaning of Palm Sunday. I pray all the time that the sacrifice of Jesus, His Resurrection, and the power of the Holy Spirit will be so real to them one day. I love to see moments that God uses to stir their little bitty hearts towards Him. What a perfect way to start off a week of celebrating that He is Risen!
HAPPY SPRING!
We have a bad case of "Spring Fever" at our house! This warm weather is so fun (for now...until it gets to the triple digits)!! We wore our GREEN and GOLD to church last Sunday to support our Baylor Bears! Baylor Men's team made it to the Elite 8 and the Women are playing in the Final Four tonight! What a fun year to be a Baylor Grad!! The boys have perfected their bear claw and can yell "Sic 'Em Bears" like pros!
Nathan and Jordan helped me make some bunny cookies one night last week.
Nathan has to hold his tongue just right.
This weekend we planted flowers in the yard. Every spring the flowers just make my heart so full! I love it! N and J were happy to help.
Couldn't find the watering can that I have owned for 7 years...I'm pretty sure Bryan threw it away in one of his "cleaning-out and organizing moods." A plastic pitcher from the pantry had to do. :)
Nathan was hunting for those rolly pollies again!
This morning was April Fools Day and we woke up to the funniest April Fools Day ever! When I turned on the light in the playroom for Jordan this morning, I noticed that our yard had a little color to it that it didn't have the day before. It turns out that some friends decorated our whole front yard with Easter eggs, Easter grass, and signs. The BEST part was the bunny pinata tied to Bryan's truck! There was even a white loofah tied to the back of the truck for the bunny tail. Nathan and Jordan were belly laughing so hard when they saw it! Bryan and the boys got to go outside with grocery bags and hunt for eggs early this morning. Oh gee...you know, you just have to laugh at stuff like this! Life is too short to not take time to have a little fun right?! And, we even cleaned all this up and still made it to church on time this morning! Unbelievable!

This afternoon we dyed Easter eggs outside...yep, outside of course. Thank goodness we did because there were quite a few splashes and messes!
After dying Easter eggs this afternoon, we did what the Calvert Boys do best...play outside! Sidewalk chalk, the trampoline, rocks, trucks, cars, rolly pollies, a slide....what could be more fun to a little boy?!
Tomorrow is a special day because my sister and her family are coming all the way from Cali to stay with my parents for a week! Woohoo!! Can not wait to hug their necks!
