Bryan and I are discussing names for the new babies with no decision yet. But, we did ask Nathan and Jordan what they think would be good names for the babies.
Jordan: "We should name them Brother and Sister." (so cute and sweet.)
Nathan: "Well, the pink one could be Tom and the green one could be Tim." (where does he get this stuff?!)
Lucky for the new babies, we will keep brainstorming names.

Pink or Blue?!
I have had somewhat of a stressful week. It all started with a big scare Saturday night that sent us straight to the Emergency Room. Thank goodness all is okay now. I just have to stay on bedrest for a few weeks until the complications subside. My doctor ordered me home from work and on the couch. His words were, "you don't need to be up moving around on your feet." That's kind of hard when I have two three year old boys at home. Thankfully, Gram, MeMe, Grandad, Granny, and Bryan have been so wonderful to help. We are so blessed. I have been able to rest and get well to hopefully be dismissed from bedrest soon. Amidst all the chaos, we were able to have a sonogram a week earlier than planned so we found out if we were expecting boys or girls or one of each. YAY!
We revealed the big surprise to Nathan and Jordan tonight!
Pink Onesies...Baby B is a Baby GIRL!!
Blue Onesies...Baby A is a Baby BOY!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
Nathan and Jordan had their very first t-ball game this weekend. They have been going to practice with their team each week for about three weeks and loving it...minus the heat! Their coach is very patient and he is teaching them to love the game. So fun!
Jordan kept saying, "Nathan is number ten and I am number one-one." Ha! His math teacher mother has quickly worked on adding "eleven" to his vocabulary!
On the real baseball field for the very first time!!!
Team huddle in the dugout before the game...
Nathan's at bat!
Jordan sure did love to be on the pitcher's mound! He got every single ground ball that came his way. He would put his glove over it and hunker down so that no one else would get it. He also refused to throw it to first base. I guess we need to work on that. Jordan pouted when his coach rotated their positions in the next inning...I guess we need to work on that too. My Jordy can tend to be a little bit of a control freak.
Meanwhile, this is Nathan on the field... kicking the cone, yelling in the cone (see below), kicking his glove, walking to the other dugout...
Proud Jordy running home!
High fives from brother as Nathan is running home!

First Day of School
Nathan and Jordan had their first day of school yesterday. They were super excited! This is the first year they are separated in different classes. While my heart is tender to this new separation experience for them, I am so excited to see how separate classes will shape their little minds and hearts. Nathan walked right into his class by himself...never looked back! Jordan was a lot more timid. He got some extra hugs from his teachers and he had quite a sad face when we left. He was super happy when Gram picked him up that afternoon and the first thing he said was, "I want to see Nathan."
The boys were super proud of their new backpacks! Jordan specifically requested a picture of his backpack. :)
I tried to catch Nathan on camera in his classroom. He was way too busy to stop for a picture. He went straight to the toys with his backpack on his back! He was so excited...he could hardly stand it!
Jordan was really proud of his cubby! He found HIS cubby all by himself...his teachers had labeled the cubbies with the children's names and pictures. Then, he put up his lunchbox by himself. He was quite proud!!

I am one proud Mama! Maybe nap-time at school will not be so disastrous this year since the boys are in different classes. I'm crossing my fingers but not holding my breath!

Back from the blogging hiatus...for real.
We said "Good-bye" to summer last week. It's always hard to get back into our routine when school starts. The boys had such a fabulous summer...swimming or splash park pretty much every day, watermelon, snocones, ice cream, movies...it was awesome. School started last week for Bryan and me. Bryan has a new job as an assistant principal. And, I went back to my same classroom teaching fifth grade math again (just like I love.)
The reason for my lack of blogging this summer...well how do I say this? I'm expecting twin babies again! It shocks me every time I hear it. Therefore, I have been absolutely exhausted at night. I crash as soon as my chores are done for the evening. Thankfully now I am feeling a little bit better so I thought I better get on here and update! I am about 13 weeks along so it won't be long before we can find out if we are expecting boys, girls, or one of each. Bryan and I are just thrilled about these little miracles. Well, Bryan's first words when the doctor told us there were two babies were, "I'm going to throw up." But, I think we are warming up to the idea and have found ourselves giddy that we will have a big family. There was a day when we weren't even sure we would ever have a child of our own. Prayer works ya'll!!! The Lord has blessed us beyond what we ever asked of Him.
We took the boys to the circus a few weeks ago and this is the only picture we have to remember our family fun that night!

Nathan and Jordan were super proud of their Circus snocones. They thought the clowns were hysterical. In fact, Nathan was laughing so loud that people sitting around us kept looking at us. Oh, they have no idea my Tot is here on earth for the party. He brings so much joy to our home!
This weekend, my sweet cousin, Betsi and her fiance, were in town. They work for this company that carries retired racecars around the country for people to pay to ride or drive around the racetrack. Nathan and Jordan thought it was pretty cool to see these racecars close up!
N and J got to stand right by the track...so fun!

ROAD TRIP!
We took a quick weekend road trip to Houston to spend some time with Aunt Libby and Uncle Brad! We got to Houston on Friday night and we went to eat a great pizza supper. Then, Libby took us to this bridge where 300,000 bats live. When the sun goes down, all the bats swoosh out from under the bridge and fly in circles before they get started with their night. Since Nathan and Jordan are big Batman fans, this was a huge deal! They thought it was so cool! It was pretty impressive and those things swoop down and fly pretty low too! Oh, and they are pretty stinky. Apparently, they tee-tee right when they wake up for the night and can you imagine the smell of 300,000 bats tinkling at the same time?! Holy Moly! Wish I had our camera with us that night.
It was a very long day...these are two sleepy boys waiting very patiently for their ice cream. Sweet boys.
The next day, we hopped in the car and headed to Galveston for the day...what a treat! Nathan and Jordan were so excited to see the ocean!
The Galveston Pier has some great new rides and tons of family fun!
The Frog Hopper!
Higher!
And higher!!
And Higher!!! Woo hoo!!!
BUMPER CARS!!
Hangin' with Uncle Brad!
And if that wasn't enough fun...then, we had ice cream on The Strand.

Just needed a little sugar to perk us up!!
Thanks for a fun weekend Aunt Libby and Uncle Brad! We can't wait to visit again! We had a blast!!
